waking up early makes a difference... 

9:00 wake up

9:30 left the house for the gym

9:40-11:00 gym time...  (+oxiflex class... flexing and stretching)

11:15 stop at a fruit stand

11:30 make a huge salad and eat

12:00 in front of computer (emails, chats, organization of thoughts)

1:00 more computer time+reading etc...

i started reading "house of leaves" a philosophical thriller so far... where the word of house is written in blue throughout the whole novel. 

5:36pm

as I had many questions regarding the moment after right now, i came across below words:

"children, who still inhabit a world where the answers are readily available. so riddles comfort the child's mind which spins wildly before the onslaught of so much information and so many subsequent questions.

summary of the day so far:

- woke up at 10~

- went to the gym for 1.5hrs (including a yoga class)

- came home and made a huge salad...

- cursed at the construction that has been going on the whole day downstairs

- made an appointment at the US Embassy - April 23rd, 8:30am! -

Ok, I cant do April's fool... It stresses me out to try to come up with "the best" lie.

So...

I find the word "sincerely" that we use as a closing line in business emails so ironic... Because, well,  the email is rarely genuine. 

we woke up at 8am when Eugene, Irina's friend, arrived from Chicago... Prepared a nice breakfast... eggs, medialunas, fruit salad, coffee, jam... and sat in the balcony with out light jackets on... It is getting colder in Buenos Aires... time to move away ;)

I got a new online job for a German company, finding/uploading RSS feeds in French to a search engine... I will do that for 10hours or so per week... We'll see how it goes.

I started reading again. New book: House of Leaves... an unconventional novel with unusual page layout and structure...

After a night of hard work(as a waitress this time), and watching Utku&Setenay perform at Salon Canning, I went to bed around 3am. We (me and Irina) woke up when our Yoga teacher came over to our place at 8:30am... How fancy are we?... We did our first stretching/yoga class in the comfort of our living room for 15$ in total. Afterwards, we had a nice breakfast in the balcony, with a light sweater on, since it is the fall... I had an interview for a content management website/search engine located in Germany. I might have a 10hrs/week; 400$/month type job depending, IN FRENCH... =)

Later, I had a meeting in my office (Malasartes) with a canadian, who is traveling through Buenos Aires and is looking into shoot some music interviews in BA for the SPIN magazine. I said I would help him with ideas and the shooting/editing process. It is not a job (no pay) but fun/resume building type thing...

now I am at home... Planning on relaxing a bit, reading or watching tv...maybe going to the gym for an hour afterwards... tonight: Practica X...

In one of my "offices" Malasartes... Internet at home is very slow...=\

I worked last night at the bar until 5am... I only had 5 hours to sleep. 

Yesterday was a sad day... Karl left us after 3 months in BA... I dont like when people leave... I am used to leaving...

This is my new house (well since March 1st)... It is in Palermo.. A 2007, concrete building...

entrance to my wonderful apartment..=) a view from the front door... on the right side is a small room with a sliding door, on the left side guest bedroom... Right now, my temporary roommate,Tom stays there... for 1 month or so...

upstairs include my bedroom, a living area and a full bathroom.. it is almost like an other apartment there... Also, you can notice Unicow, far far away, sleeping on the bed... =)




And here is one of the best parts... BALCONY!

wow... I just watched Lost's last episode... and I want to say wow... I cant wait for next week, this was a good one...

So I got an interview from ETS , the English Language Institute here. It is Monday at 3pm... We will see how it goes I guess...

Dr. Schnur, the EliteHealth CEO(the website that I do freelance editing/writing for) is here today... Johnny, the boss, will take the team to dinner tonight... 

Addition to the TO-DO List:

- Buy Tango shoes (well make 350pesos extra just for that!) 

March 25

Second step is complete as well.. I have been to the gym everyday (both days I mean) since I became a member... Unfortunately to confirm that I need to get back in shape as soon as possible.. I was only able to run for 5min the first time and 10min the second(big improvement)

~I have been spending some time at Johnny's office lately. I am doing work for him... editing/proof reading the whole website. 

I might have an interview with an English Language School here for a teaching position next week. I will let you know when it is confirmed. I love teaching and a bit of extra money would be nice.

I am also looking at some other photography courses. However, they seem a bit out of budget for now... 

I have a new roommate. He, Tom, will be staying with me for 3.5 weeks.  He is a friend of Irina's... 42 years old, work from home (some sort of consulting for university exchange programs business) . He is very nice and it helps me with the rent... but I do not like living with people...(once more confirmed) and he talks abit too much for my taste...

I have a new gym!~ so first step towards accomplishing my to-do list is done...Yay...
