I think I read this in BBC news about Turkey: "It is a nation accustomed to both domestic and foreign conflict and obsessed with the idea of its loneliness on the world stage."

April 16
long but productive day... sleep dripping from my eyes (turkish saying ;) ) 7:32 in my balcony with a glass of Malbec... the usual~
although in the absence of milk chocolate, i should be eating nothing, neither the white, nor the dark chocolate since it is actually obvious that neither will satisfy my cravings and will make me fatter in the process; I cant help myself but reach and grab anything that is in the closet.... I should go to the store and get the milk chocolate if that is an option of course... but in the case that it is not an option, it is only a waste of time and calories to go for the others. ~does trying to like dark chocolate eventually make us like it? (well in this case, maybe taste buds etc... but i am asking: generally, in life?~

April 15
here is the problem as I see it... well, first answer me this and I will tell you the potential problem I see with it...
Imagine that you only like milk chocolate... You want to have milk chocolate, better yet, you have a craving for milk chocolate. You go to your kitchen and look into your snack closet and for some reason find only White and Dark chocolate... Which one would you have?

After a great Asado last night, I felt the urge to wake up and go to the gym. The more i concentrate on getting in shape, the further seems the goal.

april 6
2:14pm
i started reading "house of leaves" a philosophical thriller so far... where the word of house is written in blue throughout the whole novel. 5:36pm
as I had many questions regarding the moment after right now, i came across below words:
"children, who still inhabit a world where the answers are readily available. so riddles comfort the child's mind which spins wildly before the onslaught of so much information and so many subsequent questions.
The adult world however, produces riddles of a different variety. They do not have answers and are often called enigmas or paradoxes. Still the old hint of the riddle's form corrupts these questions by re-echoing the most fundamental lesson: there must be an answer. From there torment comes." -house of leaves-
5:39pm
summary of the day so far:
- woke up at 10~
- went to the gym for 1.5hrs (including a yoga class)
- came home and made a huge salad...
- cursed at the construction that has been going on the whole day downstairs
- made an appointment at the US Embassy - April 23rd, 8:30am! -

april fools~
Ok, I cant do April's fool... It stresses me out to try to come up with "the best" lie.
So...
10:49am
we woke up at 8am when Eugene, Irina's friend, arrived from Chicago... Prepared a nice breakfast... eggs, medialunas, fruit salad, coffee, jam... and sat in the balcony with out light jackets on... It is getting colder in Buenos Aires... time to move away ;)
~
I got a new online job for a German company, finding/uploading RSS feeds in French to a search engine... I will do that for 10hours or so per week... We'll see how it goes.
~
I started reading again. New book: House of Leaves... an unconventional novel with unusual page layout and structure...
